February 2023: We ordered takeout for the family because nobody felt like cooking . The dang hot sandwiches looked delicious, so we ordered 2 of those, a garden salad, a BLT, and a kid's meal with chicken fingers.

Pros:
* I placed the order online via the website and paid for it via credit card. The entire process was simple and easy to use.
* The food was prepared super quickly and was waiting for me a few minutes earlier than they said it would be.
* The staff were friendly and facilitated a smooth pickup with secure packaging so that the drinks and food did not spill.
* The food was tasty and did not disappoint. The dang hot sandwiches were surprisingly good. The BLT had thick sliced bacon that was fried just right, not too crispy, but not rubbery neither.

Cons:
* The parking lot was fairly empty and looked like the restaurant was closed. However, there is a lot of construction going on in the area and next door to give that vibe. They have a sign that says OPEN on the street facing side of the restaurant for customers.

Summary: I will return.

Not a five star because the bananas were brown hidden under the blueberries. The fish platter was different than when I dined in, smaller pieces and grease soaked. The salad croutons were soft, old salad. Onion rings hard and cold. When I previously dined in the fruit salad was fresh. The fish was double the size and onion rings hot. Is the difference because I picked up and not noticed until my destination. If I was dining in I would have returned the meal.

This was the first Bob Evans I’ve visited and it was a nice lunch. The service was good and the food was delicious. I absolutely loved their chicken and noodles soup! The noodles were so good! They have table and booth options for dining in.

Boyfriend wanted Bob Evans. I don't know how this location is still open. Not 1 time in he last year have we not had a bad experience here. My food tasted like they cooked it last week and stored it in their mop bucket. I ordered avocado and those brown blobs is what I received. The banana bread felt and tasted like they mixed it in that same mop bucket, then stored there with the rest of my meal. I ordered family size biscuits and sausage gravy which I have not touched because he had to go back there and pick it up because they forgot it all together. I threw up what I did eat about 3 minutes after I started eating being so overwhelmed with the taste of an old rancid dirty water filled mop bucket smell. Go to Independence, Rockside road location do not eat at or from this location.

Will never go here again. If traveling, avoid!! The majority of staff have attitudes, super slow service while restaurant is empty and 2 of the 4 servers are leaning against the counter on their phone. Food order was wrong, had to keep reminding server what we ordered and what we needed. Took a half hour from the time we were seated before our order was taken and placed. Put a damper on our travel day because we all left annoyed and frustrated after having spent 2 hours there for such terrible service. Manager seems indifferent and oblivios to what is going on in his restaurant, with his customers or his staff. I say keep driving!

My wife and I stopped here for a late breakfast after she’d had a procedure at a nearby hospital. We were a little concerned because some Bob Evans locations have had problems in recent years (and this one has its share of bad reviews). There was a 10-minute wait to be seated, but after that, the service was attentive and prompt. Food was good, up to the standards Bob Evans is known for. Glad we came.
