I hired Food for Thought to cater a small private event for my friend’s birthday while we were on vacation. The chef came to the home and brought everything needed to prepare a delicious meal! The food was incredible, and everyone loved it. Pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend!

The Best Chef and team that everyone needs for their wedding!… Can I just say thank you again for absolutely everything ! I can not say enough for what you have done for the both of us and our guests! Everything was absolutely perfect!! And more.

From emailing, meeting up,the lovely service you gave us, the amazing most beautiful food we have ever had and helping others out to attend the ceremony and getting everyone home, we really can not express how grateful we are! Top top service, we really felt like royalty!. The day was just unreal! I will remember this for absolute forever as my most favourite day!. Every guest we have spoke to could not express anymore about how amazing the day was and the food was just beautiful and every staff member was very very nice and helpful, the best wedding they have been too, and to hear that really did make me cry because we know it was true but to hear it from others was really nice. We are still talking about the food and service that’s how great use where!!(you wouldn’t get the service that you gave us anywhere) .

Where to begin?

Food for thought, and particularly the owner, Simon, were by far the best the choice we made for our wedding in Marbella. I cannot recommend them enough!

We had a very bad experience with a previous catering company (FiestaSol) and decided to cancel our contract with them 2 months before our wedding. Crazy I know, but the best decision we made, as we found Simon and his team!

There was a significant amount of stress and experience we gained as a result. We knew what to and what not look out for when choosing another catering company.

1) Communication with owner: Simon treated me and my partner with respect, highest level of professionalism and was always response, easy to communicate and very flexible with our needs. He's also just a great guy, extremely knowledgeable and gives excellent advice.

2) Food tasting experience: Food for thought and Simon delivered a food tasting experience like no other! My partner and I felt like we were private dining in a high class restaurant. Food was amazing, Simon provided us with all options to taste including all the available drinks, and the atmosphere had us feel exactly what we could picture at the wedding.

3) Wedding day: Simon and his team received glowing reviews form all our guests. The burgers with the cider shot was a hit! Simon was also incredible reliable, his team were great, again I got a lot of feedback on how easy going and professional the waitering staff were.

Just a final word: After we cancelled our contract with the previous company, we had two months left to find a catering company we trusted, was reliable and flexible to our needs whilst still delivering amazing food at a reasonable cost. Food for thought ticked every box and more. I was genuinely pinching myself, thinking there has to be a catch, I must be missing something. But no, Simon is direct, transparent, friendly and very respectful. He is a breath of fresh air after all that we experienced!

Thank you Simon and the team from Food for Thought, you guys helped create the wedding that was beyond what we imagined.

I arranged a bbq for my husband’s birthday via email from home. When we arrived at the villa in Nerja Simon contacted me to confirm all was set for the bbq.
The chef and staff arrived as stated. The food was exceptional. All cooked to perfection, lovely meats , salad, bread etc.
I would highly recommend this private catering for a special experience.

Recently used these guys for my wedding and they did a superb job. Everything was perfect and I did not need to worry about a thing as they had everything under control and reassured me. The canapés were absolutely beautiful and everybody commented on how good they were and I had a hog roast which went down a treat. The staff were so friendly and lovely and tables and chairs were set up and taken away without me even noticing. Fantastic job and couldn’t recommend more highly.

Simon’s catering service and food are absolutely superb! We had amazing canapés, a hog roast, sea bass, salads, profiteroles and strawberry pavlova and our wedding guests told us it was the best food at any wedding they’d ever been too. Simon is a professional and his waitressing and bar staff just lovely! Simon has been a chef in 5 star hotels throughout the world and you won’t be able to find anyone better for your wedding catering!
