David and his team are amazing- I can't say enough good things! Outside of the menu having great options, the dishes were elevated and well done. I told David I wanted a canoe bar and he made it happen without question. The signature cocktails were the best I've had at an open bar considering the large guest count (not the watered down sugary ones you typically see). His team was also amazing, the bartenders were hilarious and engaging with our guests making sure everyone had fun. 10/10 would use him again and recommend to my friends/family!

We can’t thank David and his team enough for making our special day so incredible, providing super delicious food and drinks! His staff were really professional, friendly, funny and above all had a great time with us and our wedding guests. The service during dinner was spot on with everything tasting just as good or better than our private tasting meal a few months prior (if you have the opportunity to do this, I highly recommend, as David and team did not hold back making this super special as well!)! The only issue we ran into was nothing to do with the catering, just the unquenchable thirst for tequila our guests had from all the delicious maracuya margs… we ran out of tequila …twice. If we could do it again, we would. Thanks to the entire team at Salt and Sugar, we highly recommend!

I truly mean this when I say, David and his team at Salt & Sugar made our wedding what it was. From the drinks at our welcome party, all the way through the end of the night churros on the dancefloor, David provided outstanding service, phenomenal food, and a one of a kind experience we still have friends and family talking about. Yes the cocktails were truly amazing, the oyster boat looked and tasted spectacular, and the dinner was outstanding, but really what blew us away was how warm and welcoming his team and staff were. David even made sure I ate before events since he knew I would be distracted! His care for the event was something I still think about. The food was truly special, and I would point everyone I know in his direction. I cannot recommend David, and the whole staff at Salt & Sugar enough!

After reading all the previous reviews, I just want to say DITTO!! Words just don’t seem adequate to describe how wonderful our experience was with David and his team. He catered a welcome party and wedding for our daughter’s wedding in April in Rancho Leonero. His food went beyond our expectations- but even more than that, the way he and his staff made all of our guests feel- was something extraordinary. Of course, the oyster canoe was fantastic, the cocktails were amazing, but the service just really takes the cake!
David is a magician- he can create the most memorable meals in some crazy kitchen set ups! Let’s just say it was the best wedding food any of us had ever had!

What can I say about David and his team - he does it all and more. He and his team exceeded expectations in their professionalism, the warm smile on his face, the way they present themselves and their food, his hospitality, the way he listens to you, his food and creativity and so much more. He speaks through the food and is just the best!

From the time we met David and had our tasting and then all the way up to the wedding everything was incredible and so memorable. We trusted him with his recommendations and pairings and wouldn’t change a single thing. You really pay for quality and he is worth every single dollar.

We couldn’t pick just one favorite from the menu. From the boat of oysters at the cocktail hour, to the mole beef dish he recommended, the mango catch of the day…. So fresh and impeccably done.

The staff were so sweet and kind and go above and beyond to make sure you had everything you need.

Thank you David and team for being a huge part of our special wedding weekend. Everyone remembers the food, alcohol and music and trust me you won’t go wrong with David!
